PRESS RELEASE FOR WEEK ENDING JAN. 5,2009

WHILE ON PATROL TRAVELING RT.130 SOUTH, POLICE OBSERVED A

SUBJECT DART ACROSS THE mGHW AY AND RUN INTO THE LIBERTY

GAS STATION. THAT INDIVIDUAL WAS STOPPED AND ADVISED HE IS

NOT TO CROSS THE HIGHWAY IN THAT MANNER AND WAS ASKED FOR

IDENTIFICATION. HAVING TOLD POLICE HE HAD NO IDENTIFICATION

ON HIM HE GAVE POLICE FALSE INFORMATION ON HIMSELF AND HAD

TO BE TAKEN INTO POLICE HEADQUARTERS TO ASCERTAIN HIS

IDENTITY. THE SUBJECT AGAIN PROVIDED FALSE INFORMATION TO

POLICE. HOWEVER, A SLIP-UP IN PREVIOUS ADDRESSES PROVIDED

POLICE ENOUGH INFORMATION TO LOCATE A PHONE NUMBER FOR

ONE OF THE ADDRESSES AND DETERMINE HIS IDENTITY. CHARGED

WITH HINDERING APPREHENSION AND UNSWORN FALSIFICATION WAS

20 YEAR OLF DAVID BELLAMY OF TRENTON, NJ. MR. BELLAMY HAD 8

OUTSTANDING WARRANTS (7 MOTOR VEHICLE AND ONE CRIMINAL,

HINDERING APPREHENSION) ON HIM. MR. BELLAMY WAS TURNED

OVER TO LUMBERTON TWP. POLICE ON THEIR WARRANT FOR $2,500.00.

ARRESTING OFFICER PTL. DAN ANDERSON.

POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING CRIMINAL MISCHIEF TO A BUILDING IN

THE 300 BLOCK OF FARNSWORTH AVE. WHEREAS A PANE OF GLASS

WAS BROKEN IN THE ENTRANCE DOOR. APPROXIMATE

REPLACEMENT COST TO REPAIRIREPLACE IS $100.00.
