PRESS RELEASE FOR WEEK ENDING JULY 28, 2009

Police are investigating the theft of a bicycle stolen from the 300

block of Prince St. when it's owner left it unattended and

unlocked for approximately 5 to 10 minutes. The bike, a girls

purple mountain bike, is valued at approximately $100.00.

While doing a property check of the City Beach, police observed a

vehicle occupied by two persons after posted hours. Upon

checking the individuals it was discovered they were watching a

movie on a portable DVD player and smoking marijuana. Charged

with possession of CDS, possession of CDS paraphernalia and

trespassing (under City Ordinance) was 24 year old Philip

Majofsky of Hamilton, NJ and 18 year old Melissa Bufogle also

of Hamilton, NJ. Both were charged, given court dates and

released.

The storm that struck Bordentown area Sunday night left most City

Residents without power for approximately 4 to six hours, taking

down numerous trees and a few telephone poles. No injuries were

reported as heavy rain, hail stones and high winds came through

during evening hours.
