While on routine patrol a man was observed exit an alley on Prince St. and proceed on
w. Chestnut St. towards Farnsworth Ave. That man was recognized by patrol officer
Patrolman Vincent Bernotas due to past encounters and was known to have an
outstanding warrant for his arrest. Upon verifying the warrant to still be active, Ptl.
Bernotas arrested 19 year old Elziefe Williams of Rt. 206, Bordentown, on a warrant in
violation of the NJ Transit Line. Upon searching the suspect before placing him in the
patrol unit police discovered two baggies containing green vegetation suspected to be
marijuana and smoking paraphernalia. Mr. Williams being unable to post $500.99 bail
on the warrant was lodged in Burlington County Jail in default. Mr. Williams was given
a court date in March on new charges of Possession of CDS and drug paraphernalia.
