Patrolman Bourn was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York.  Patrolman Bourn graduated from John Dewey High School in 1986.  Patrolman Bourn served in the U.S. Army "Hell on Wheels" in Carlstadt W. Germany for three years as a 13B10 Cannoner Crew Member and was honorably discharged.  Patrolman Bourn joined the Fieldsboro Police Department in 1994 and graduated from Burlington County Police Academy in 1995.  In 1996, Patrolman Bourn joined the Burlington County Sheriff's Department.  Patrolman Bourn was assigned to the Community Relations Unit where he taught D. A. R. E. and Defensive Driving.  He was also an instructor with the Burlington County Youth Police Academy and assisted with the Burlington County Sheriff's Department Boot Camp.  In November of 2002, Patrolman Bourn joined the Bordentown City Police Department.  Patrolman Bourn teaches D. A. R. E., is the Dog Census Officer, and provides a safe environment for the residents of Bordentown City.
