K-9 Sandy

Sandy, #6099, is retiring from narcotics detection after almost three years of excellent service.  Sandy accumulated nearly sixty arrests during her time as narcotics detection K-9.  Unfortunately, Sandy has contracted Lyme's disease, and her medication impairs her sense of smell.  The impairment is slight, but it's enough that she can no longer be used for narcotics detection.  Sandy is now our public safety K-9.  You can expect to see her at events and K-9 demonstrations in the future.  Sandy's new handler is Special Officer Sedor.
