It is with deep regret that the Old City Hall Annual Train Show is not being held this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This event is such a popular event and draws a large crowd that would violate not only the Governor’s Executive Orders regulating indoor gatherings but would jeopardize the health and safety of all who may attend.
It is with sadness and heavy hearts that Joe Malone, Zig and Nancy Targonski, Sean Gerike and the members of the South Jersey train group cannot set up their displays and bring joy to the faces of everyone who visits each year during the holidays. They will miss the school groups from the local schools, the Church groups that come for special viewings and each and every resident and visitor from near and far who share in the joy and enthusiasm of a this wonderful train display and the joy of the holidays!
From the bottom of their hearts and the hearts of the Mayor and Commissioners and the Old City Hall Restoration Committee, we wish everyone a joyous, safe and healthy Holiday. May the New Year bring joy, happiness and a shining path to recovery for our business owners and residents who have been so deeply affected by this pandemic that we are still learning to navigate and understand.
