City of Bordentown Trash Truck

The Public Works Department oversees many functions that impact the daily quality of life throughout town. Twice-a-week trash collection, street sweeping, maintenance of city parks and grounds, city building maintenance, planting and watering of seasonal landscaping, snow plowing, setting up for the annual holiday tree lighting ceremony, and clean-up after the many festivals and special events that take place throughout the year.

STREET SWEEPER

Street sweeping operations officially begin on May 1st of each year and run through November 30th. Each side of every street has posted parking restrictions during a two-hour window once per week in order to ensure the street is cleared for the sweeper. During this time, please obey all parking restrictions to avoid ticketed enforcement. Steet sweeping is required by state law for certain municipalities in order to keep stormwater systems free from debris.
