The City of Bordentown Water Department will be conducting routine hydrant flushing from April 8th to April 17th.
This essential maintenance helps remove sediment, maintain water quality, and ensure hydrants are ready for fire protection. During this time, you may notice temporary discoloration or slight pressure changes in your water—this is normal and will clear up by running cold water for a few minutes. Rest assured, your water remains safe to drink!
Thank you for your understanding as we work to keep our water system clean and reliable.

Another pickup in the books!! This is the third time in just 3 months that our BookDrop container has been filled to the BRIM by our awesome residents!
Let’s keep turning pages and making a difference. Recycle your books the smart way—drop them off anytime at the BookDrop bin at Bordentown City Hall, 101 E Park Street.
Did you know that...?
1. BookDrop rescues more than 1 million books from landfills each month.
2. BookDrop recycles over 750 tons of books monthly, significantly reducing waste.
3. More than 100,000 books find their way into the hands of new readers every month through BookDrop's efforts.
4. 50% of the books collected are read again by another reader, promoting literacy and reuse.
5. BookDrop accepts books of any language or subject, ensuring a wide range of materials are given a second life.
